When delivering bunkers, it is important both to deliver the correct quality as well as a well deﬁned quantity. marine fuel is priced per tons and many factors can inﬂuence the readings of traditional volumetric ﬂow meters, such as density, temperature, viscosity etc. The density of heavy fuels can vary up to 150 kg/m3.
